Four women arrested in Belmopan for drug trafficking

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police busted four women in Belmopan this week with over 15 grams of crack cocaine.

Reports are that officers searched a house on Guyana Street where they found a transparent plastic bag that contained (5) transparent plastic bags each containing pieces of crack cocaine, which amounted to 16.6 grams.

Present at the time of discovery were 22-year-old Dirannie Lopez, 49-year-old Brenda Monterrosa, 49-year-old Gilriam Mejia, and Laura Aguirre.

The four women were formally charged with “Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Supply Another”.
