Driver dies in traffic accident near agriculture showgrounds in Belmopan

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The driver involved in the road traffic accident near the Agriculture and Trade Show Grounds earlier this evening died on the spot.

Breaking Belize News (BBN) has confirmed that authorities managed to extract the male victim’s body from the wreckage, but he was lifeless at the time.

The accident occurred just before 5:00 p.m. today. The driver, who was in a black SUV reportedly skidded off the Hummingbird Highway and ended in a drain in front of Bravo Motors.

He sustained severe injuries in the incident and died on the scene.

Authorities have yet to release the victim’s identity.
