Belize Tourism Board supports upcoming back-to-school haircut drive by Inspirational Arts

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Tourism Board is supporting a community initiative to get 200 kids ready for back-to-school with grooming and school supplies, being led by the grassroots organization Inspirational Arts.

This week the BTB made a donation of $2,000 which will go towards Inspirational Arts’ 10th back-to-school drive, being held in the Fabers Road Extension community.

“This is part of the organization’s mission to provide uplifting activities and opportunities for at-risk marginalized youths,” the BTB explained.

The donation was presented by Mr. Evan Tillett, Director of Tourism, and received by Ms. Orinthia Staine and Ms. Julie Dena.
