By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean striker Jayda Brown made a sensational debut on Thursday scoring a brace for the Campbellsville University Tigers in the 5-0 rout of the Kentucky Wesleyan College in the Mid-South Conference at Owensboro, Kentucky.

“Belizean top striker Jayda Brown doing a thing,” said the Football Federation of Belize. “2 goals in her … debut with her university in the USA. Belizean ballers got talent.”

“In the latter 45, the Lady Tigers continued to dominate on the offensive end. The duo of Agatha Nimene and Jayda Brown worked together to put Campbellsville further ahead of the Panthers to the tune of 3-0 when Brown logged her first career goal with the Lady Tigers,” said the Campbellsville University Tigers website.

“With four minutes remaining in the contest, Brown scored another goal with an assist by Kieh.”

Certainly, a good way to start her year at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Kentucky where she is on a one-year full scholarship doing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.

Brown is an alumna of Galen University.

The Campbellsville Tigers next game is on Thursday, September 1 against Aquinas College in Michigan.
