Robber sprayed with gasoline by pump attendant at Kontiki Gas Station in San Ignacio

By Breaking Belize News Staff: An attempted robbery was foiled today at the Kontiki Gas Station in San Ignacio by a quick acting pump attendant.
 
Two male persons on a motorcycle were attempting to rob two pump attendants at gas station when the incident occurred. During the robbery attempt one of the pump attendants managed to run from the scene. However, the other attendant managed to spray one of the robbers with gasoline from the pump.
 
The robbers were clearly surprised at the turn of events, and not knowing the next move of the quick acting pump attendant, decided to flee the scene on their motorcycle.
