Orange Walk’s September line-up sees 100% Belizean artists

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Belizeans are preparing for September celebrations to mark Belize’s 41^st anniversary of Independence after a 2-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Orange Walk Town Council announced via their Facebook page that for their schedule of activities this year, they have chosen to go with a full Belizean artists line-up.

On September 20, 2022, there will be performances by MIME, Electro sounds, Continental Cat, Reckless, Harlem Youth, Johnny P, Super Furia, Techno band, and Fadda Jesse.

Jouvert will begin at 4 am on September 21, 2022, with DJ Gut of Generation 2 Sounds.

Following the parade on Independence Day, TLC band will perform along with Reckless, Harlem Youth, Super Furia, Fadda Jesse, Johnny P, Continental Cat, and Techno Band.
