Verdes face San Pedro Pirates in Cayo on Sunday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: After their participation in the Scotiabank Concacaf League, Verdes can now concentrate on winning the Premier League of Belize (PLB) championship again.

On Sunday at 4:00 pm at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio they host the San Pedro Pirates in the fifth week of action in the PLB.

Verdes lead the PLB with ten points from three games and a draw while San Pedro find themselves in the fourth position with six points from two wins and two losses.

With Verdes intent on qualifying again to the Concacaf League and San Pedro wanting to improve their position in the PLB, the match promises to be high powered and entertaining.
