Wagiya clash with Altitude in the biggest PLB game this weekend

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Third place Wagiya clash with subchampions and second place Altitude in the biggest Premier League of Belize (PLB) game this weekend at the Carl Ramos Stadium at 4:00 pm on Sunday.

The Carl Ramos has seen a whole lot of high intensity games and this one promises to be everything a football fan wants to see when he/she goes to a football stadium. Add to that the incessant sound of the Garifuna drums, and you can’t ask for more.

Both Stann Creek District clubs have nine points from three wins and a loss. While Altitude hold second place because of the goal differential (5-1), Wagiya have scored one more goal (6-3).

The Battle of the South looks like an even-steven match, but today don’t bet on a draw.
