BREAKING: Nurses at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital protest working conditions

By Benjamin Flowers: Nurses at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital are currently gathered in the hospital’s parking lot to protest.

The nurses say that the working conditions at the hospital are unacceptable, as the hospital lacks basic resources they need to deliver the minimum standard of care.

The nurses are calling for the relevant authorities to urgently allocate the necessary resources to for them to be able to do so, as well as to improve their working conditions.

The nurses note that, while their protest is on a separate issue from the other walkouts held by nurses countrywide earlier today, they support those nurses and their cause.
