Child apparently electrocuted at home in Pomona, Stann Creek District

By Aaron Humes: Dangriga Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an 8-year-old girl this evening in the village of Pomona, Stann Creek District.

Information to Breaking Belize News (BBN) is that the child was apparently electrocuted after coming into contact with a live wire.

She was taken to the Southern Regional Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

Investigation continues.
