KHMH Workers’ Union backs “brave” nurses

Posted: Monday, August 29, 2022. 9:08 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: The Workers Union at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital Authority (KHMHA) has issued a statement of solidarity with affected workers at the Government-managed Regional Hospital in the South.

It too says it is having shortages in supplies and needed items and salutes the “bravery” of stepping up to bring to light what discussions have failed to.

It also asks the public for their patience in navigating the challenges brought on by these actions in the coming days.

There is no indication if the Union plans to stage a protest of its own as the KHMHA is a statutory body and run separately from the regional hospitals.
