Three teenage girls run away from youth facility; Police seek assistance in finding them

By Breaking Belize News staff: Three teenage girls have escaped from a youth facility in the Cayo district, and the Belize Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding them.

The girls, 13-year-old Jasmine Perez, 15-year-old Lupita Nino, and 13-year-old Angelita Posado, were all last seen around 11:00 a.m. pinning out clothes.

Perez, who is described as being of his panic descent with long black hair and standing 5′ 5″ tall, was last seen wearing long blue jeans pants, a blue t-shirt, and slippers.

Nino, who is described as being of Hispanic descent with fair complexion, straight, red hair, and standing 5′ 4″ tall, was last seen wearing black and white leggings, a green t-shirt, and slippers.

Posado, also described as being of Hispanic descent, standing 5′ 2″ with long black hair, was last seen wearing a red T-Shirt and an off-white long distressed jeans

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to report it by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
