Belize Weather: Showers to dot Belize from passing tropical wave

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, relatively moist and unstable conditions will prevail as a weak tropical wave crosses our area.

Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and tonight cloudy at times. A few showers or thunderstorms will affect most areas.

High temperatures will be 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees over inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees over inland areas and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots. The seas will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be high at 11:51 this morning, then low at 6:09 this evening. Sunset is at 6:07 this evening and sunrise on Wednesday morning at 5:38.

Similar weather conditions to today are being forecast for Wednesday.
