Two Belizeans, one foreigner lead all goalscorers in Premier League of Belize

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Three players are leading the top goalscorers list in the Premier League of Belize (PLB) with three goals each.

The top scorers are Colombian Andrés Orozco of Altitude and Belizeans Warren Moss of Wagiya and Zamir Bonilla of Progresso.

The other three who were at the top last week with two got left behind. These players are Verdes Luis Ibarra (Paraguayan), Port Loyola’s Sean Young, and Wagiya’s Cion Augustine and they’ve been joined by Altitude’s Rene Leslie who scored the winning goal for the Mango Creek side over Wagiya on the weekend.

After five weekends and 20 games, we’d normally have at least one player with more goals but the spread has been good so far. Nobody has a big edge with 20 players scoring all 30 goals. Three have scored three, four have two each, and 13 have one each.
