MSME Roadshow comes to a close today in Orange Walk

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The second stop of the MSME Roadshow ends today in Orange Walk.

“A little rain… but nothing dampens the Road… the MSME Roadshow,” wrote Prime Minister John Briceño on social media all the way in Germany as he leads the Caribbean delegation of the Small Island Developing States but still keeping informed of the Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) Roadshow which he is very much interested in,

“The Orange Walk pop up day is bustling with business, customers and creativity.

“We’ve got a range of business entrepreneurs doing business showing just why MSMEs are the engine that drives our economy and economic recovery,’ he reiterated.

53 entrepreneurs have been participating in the MSME Roadshow in Orange Walk.

The first-of-its-kind, National MSME Roadshow was launched by Beltraide in conjunction with the Economic Development Council (EDC), through its technical secretariat, the Public-Private Desk in the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Investment Policy and Compliance Unit, with the support of strategic partners, including UNDP and the Mayors Association of Belize.

The Prime Minister kept encouraging businesses to sign up to participate in the roadshow which is going all around the country. So far, Corozal and Orange Walk have been covered.

The next stop is the Belize District.

“The road[show] stops in Belize City on September 7 to 9th. Register and participate,” said the Prime Minister.
