By Breaking Belize News Staff: Relatively moist and unstable weather continues according to the National Meteorological Service, but skies will be sunny today with cloudy spells, with showers or thunderstorms mostly affecting the south at first, then northern and inland areas after mid-morning. Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times with a few showers or thunderstorms mainly in the south.
High temperatures will reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 80 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds will be easterly at 10 to 20 knots. The seas will be choppy with waves of three to five feet. A flood watch is in effect for southern portions of the country.
Tides will be low at 9:48 this morning and 8:40 this evening and high at 4:09 this afternoon. The sun will set at 6:04 this evening and rise at 5:39 Sunday morning.
On Sunday, skies are forecasted to be cloudy at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly over northern districts, then moving south and along some coastal areas Sunday night.
