Miss Universe Belize to partner with Anti-Trafficking in Persons Council to bring awareness to the fight against human trafficking

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Miss Universe Belize, Ashley Lightburn informed today via her Facebook page that she will partner with the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Council to bring awareness to the critical cause of fighting human trafficking in Belize.

“The Blue Heart isn’t just for show! It’s a symbol recognized by the United Nations, saying that we are committed to fighting Human Trafficking and ensuring that all victims of this crime are heard and seen,” Lightburn said.

Lightburn urges all Belizeans to give the necessary attention to this issue, and do their part to end human trafficking in Belize.
