Prime Minister visits Holocaust Memorial in Berlin

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Prime Minister John Briceno paid his respect at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, Germany for the murdered Jews of Europe.

“As I stood paying my respects at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, also known as the Holocaust Memorial, in Berlin, my thoughts were on our Belize and our national pride as a multicultural nation,” PM Briceno said.

“This visit is particularly pointed as at home, we begin to celebrate our national identity and all that is Belize and Belizean,” he added.

The Holocaust Memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust was designed by architects Peter Eisenman and Buro Happold.
