Three games play tonight in the PLB at Belmopan, San Pedro, Independence; one on Sunday in Dangriga

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Premier League of Belize features three games tonight in the PLB at Belmopan, San Pedro, and Independence, and one on Sunday in Dangriga.

League leaders Altitude host Progresso FC at 7:30 pm at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence/Mango Creek. Altitude is particularly happy the FFB’s Appeals Committee overturned the one-game spectator’s ban, so expect a deafening crowd in Independence tonight.

The Belmopan Bandits host Belize City’s Port Layola at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan at 7:30 pm.

In San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, the San Pedro Pirates will be taking on the visiting Benque Viejo United at the Ambergris Stadium at 7:30 pm as well.

The sixth weekend of PLB action closes on Sunday when Wagiya hosts national champions Verdes at 4:00 pm at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen.
