By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Altitude fans were allowed access to Michael Ashcroft Stadium on Saturday night after the FFB Appeals Committee lifted the one-game spectators ban imposed on the Southern club by the PLB Disciplinary Committee, and Altitude did not let down their fans earning a 2-1 win over Progresso FC.
The win keeps Altitude in the top spot in the Premier League of Belize with 15 points from six games.
Colombian Andres Orozco scored a brace in the 10’ and 48’ becoming the lone leading goalscorer now with five.
Marlon Gutierrez converted the lone tally for Progresso in the 20’.
While Altitude have now won five games and lost one.
Progresso FC, on the other hand, dropped their third game against three wins. They dropped to fourth place as the San Pedro Pirates now total 10 points from the 2-1 victory Benque Viejo United.
“No doubt there are improvements to be made and we will continue to work harder in order to get better and achieve our goal to reach the playoffs,” Progresso FC wrote on social media.
“Our record at PLB is now 3 wins and 3 losses. Definitely this is good for a team that just joined PLB.
