Belize Weather: Sunshine and showers mix

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells and isolated showers except for parts of the country during today. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the south.

High temperatures will reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees over inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 80 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots; the seas will be slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be low at 12:28 this afternoon and 11:04 tonight and high at 7:06 this evening. Sunset is at 6:03 this evening and sunrise on Tuesday morning at 5:39.

Fair weather prevails on Tuesday except for some showers or isolated thunderstorms along coastal areas on Tuesday morning and over inland areas in the afternoon.
