Four Belize resorts win prestigious awards from World Travel Awards

By Aaron Humes: The World Travel Awards have recognized four top hotels and resorts across Belize with awards in its regional ceremony held in Jamaica last week.

Placencia’s The Ellysian Boutique Hotel has been named Mexico & Central America’s Leading Boutique Hotel for 2022, an award for which it was previously nominated twice.

But it was the San Ignacio Resort Hotel that claimed the title of Belize’s Leading Hotel 2022.

Belize’s Leading Resort 2022 is Las Terrazas Resort & Residences in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye and Belize’s Leading Villa Resort 2022 is the Coppola Family’s Turtle Inn, also located off the coast of Placencia.
