Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated except for a few more in inland areas this afternoon.

High temperatures will reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast this morning, 93 degrees in inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight, low temperatures will be 79 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly at five to 15 knots. The seas will be slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be low at 1:34 this afternoon, then high at 7:58 this evening. Sunset is at 6:02 this evening and sunrise on Wednesday at 5:39 a.m.

The extended outlook through Wednesday sees mainly fair weather continuing with isolated showers or thunderstorms, with a chance for slightly more in inland areas on Wednesday and Wednesday night.
