Belize Weather: A fair and fine day

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair and warm weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be mostly sunny with isolated showers and isolated afternoon thunderstorms inland. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly over the south.

High temperatures will reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees over inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 79 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to ten knots. Sea conditions will be slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be low at 2:27 this afternoon, then high at 8:39 this evening. Sunset occurs at 6:01 this evening and sunrise on Thursday morning is at 5:39.

For Thursday, expect mainly fair weather with isolated showers and afternoon thunderstorms inland, and a few showers and thunderstorms over most areas Thursday night.
