By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister John Briceño bid farewell to British High Commissioner to Belize Claire Evans, who is exiting the office after four years of service, having been first appointed in 2018.
Offering his “sincerest gratitude,” the Prime Minister noted on social media that, “Over her years in Belize, our two countries collaborated in several bilateral cooperation areas of mutual benefit. We thank High Commissioner Evans for her partnership with Belize and recognize her stalwart service on behalf of the United Kingdom. Our best wishes for her future endeavours.”
High Commissioner Evans paid her last courtesy call on the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Eamon Courtenay this afternoon.
