Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation highlights Kevin Rivera in its latest intern spotlight

By Benjamin Flowers: The latest Intern Spotlight from the Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation (MBECA) has highlighted undergraduate student Kevin Rivera.

The Ministry said that Rivera, who is pursuing his bachelor’s in Environmental science at Galen University, has been in the current intern cycle for two months and has been involved in a variety of ministry-related tasks and in the management of the MBECA Seashore Park.

“Aside from his last month with the Ministry, Mr. Rivera also interned with the Fisheries Department – Belize, where he was able to assist with the national conch survey as well as participate in a site inspection of the fisherman cooperatives that are regulating lobster for the current season,” the Ministry said.

The Ministry commended Rivera’s efforts during his internship and said that it is pleased to have him in the current cycle.
