By Rubén Morales Iglesias: As promised, the MSME Roadshow awarded three Orange Walk women entrepreneurs $2,500 each for pitching their business during the second stop of the roadshow that is making its rounds countrywide.
“Congratulations to the three (3) winners of #MSMERoadshow from Orange Walk #smallbusiness pitch. These women will each receive $2,500 each to help them with their businesses,” said BELTRAIDE.
Jessica Reyes, owner of Reyes Organic Beauty; Tyree Lizama owner of Farmer’s Daughters; and Nadimi Blanco, owner of Wax Baybee Beauty Studio are the three women entrepreneurs who each won themselves the $2,500 award.
The MSME Roadshow was in Orange Walk last week from August 31 to September 2.
“We Encourage women from the district of Belize to participate in the Roadshow and the Seed Capital Competition!,” said BELTRAIDE,
“The Government of Belize through the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Human Development and BELTRAIDE are doing more to help our women succeed in business.”
This week the MSME Roadshow is in Belize City and three more women will be awarded $2,500 each for pitching their business ideas.
The National MSME Roadshow was launched by BELTRAIDE in conjunction with the Economic Development Council (EDC), through its technical secretariat, the Public-Private Desk in the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Investment Policy and Compliance Unit, with the support of strategic partners, including UNDP and the Mayors Association of Belize.
The next stop will be Punta Gorda from September 14-16.
