Belize’s High Commissioner in the UK participates in remembrance activities for the late Queen Elizabeth II

By Benjamin Flowers: Today, Belize’s British High Commissioner Therese Rath, participated in an activity in remembrance of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Rath was among the thousands of people who filed past Buckingham Palace this morning, to place flowers in remembrance of the Queen.

She joined in her official capacity as High Commissioner to offer condolences.to the Royal Family on behalf of Belize.

Messages of condolences have also been issued by the Government of Belize, Prime Minister John Briceño, Leader of the Opposition Moses “Shyne” Barrow, and Governor General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam.

Belize will join in mourning by flying flags at half-mast until the Queen is officially laid to rest.
