Belize City woman charged with drug trafficking out on bail

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 38-year-old Belize City woman is out on bail after being charged for drug trafficking.

Carolina White was taken to court this week on two counts of possession of controlled drugs.

White pleaded not guilty to both charges and since there was no objection to bail being granted to her, the Senior Magistrate offered her bail in the sum of $3,000 plus one surety of the same amount which she was able to meet.

She is scheduled to appear back in Court #3 on October 24, 2022.

On Tuesday, September 6, police conducted a search at White’s house on Cesar Ridge Road around 9:45 a.m., where they found 215 grams of marijuana and a total of 24.2 grams of crack cocaine in a backpack.
