By Rubén Morales Iglesias: MSME Roadshow Pop-Up shop closed on Friday at the ITVET in Belize City. Several Micro, Small and Mediums businesses set up shot at the ITVET to exhibit and sell their products and services.
“Come out and support #SmallBusiness,” said organizer BELTRAIDE at the time.
The Pop-up shops were the final event in the three-day MSME Roadshow in Belize City.
The Roadshow started on Wednesday with the MSME Boot Camp which delved into Entrepreneurship Lab/Design Thinking and continued on Thursday with the Formalization Clinic, an informational session by key government agencies and funding opportunities by Financial Institutions. Key government agencies, banks and financial institutions, and other organizations were present.
The National MSME Roadshow was launched by BELTRAIDE in conjunction with the Economic Development Council (EDC), through its technical secretariat, the Public-Private Desk in the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Investment Policy and Compliance Unit, with the support of strategic partners, including UNDP and the Mayors Association of Belize.
The next stop will be Punta Gorda from September 14-16.
