“The Nohoch Che’en, ATM and Xunantunich Archaeological Reserves are now open for visitation,” said the Institute of Archaeology (NICH).
All other archaeological reserves are open for visitation.
“The Institute will continue to monitor river conditions and provide necessary updates,” said IA/NICH.
These sites were closed on Friday due to elevated river conditions and water levels. The IA/NICH advises visitors to “continue to exercise caution at all times”.
