Leaked medico-legal form in Dangriga “just a prank,” says Commissioner

By Aaron Humes: Some officers started a joke in Dangriga recently – but no one is laughing, least of all Commissioner of Police Chester Williams.

A mocked-up medico-legal form as is typically used by Police to document injuries treated in hospitals for which official complaints have been made was mistakenly released publicly.

It carries the colorful description of a “guava” (swelling) to the left side of the forehead, rendered in Kriol as “farrid.”

But according to the Commissioner, his officers know better and so there is no need to call for additional literacy or other classes.

No word on any potential disciplinary charges.
