Police working to identify dead female found in Independence village cemetery

By Aaron Humes: Police say they are presently investigating a reported death in the village of Independence, Stann Creek District. 

The body of a female was found this morning in the village cemetery, with injuries described as cut wounds.

Police are still canvassing the scene at this hour and await further details.
