RCCbpo offers guidance to job seekers heading to the upcoming EXPO

By Breaking Belize News Staff: RCCbpo, the largest employer in Belize’s business process outsourcing sector, invites job seekers to their booth at the upcoming expo.

RCCbpo will be out at the Expo Belize Market Place at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex on September 17 and 18, pre-screening candidates. Those successful will be called in for the next step of the interview process.

Candidates must be 18 years or older and fully vaccinated. Belize City residents are getting preference as transportation will be made available to them; however, Ladyville residents are still encouraged to apply.

Breaking Belize News spoke with Kanndy De Paz, Chief of Human Resources at RCCbpo, who gave insights on traits that the company is looking for in new hires and traits that allow agents to excel at their work.

“We are looking for persons with great command of the English language as well as fluency, people who are very conversational, energetic, and have flexible schedules to work the various shifts we have available,” De Paz said.

The company currently has five types of jobs available: customer service, sales, technical support, data entry, and collections. While some shifts are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., others vary throughout the day and night, as some run 24 hours a day.

“I always tell them, be yourself and answer to the best of your ability”. ” We are looking for people with friendly personalities, great listeners, attentive to detail, have patience, people who are outgoing, who are not afraid to ask questions, are good at being persuasive, and most importantly, willing to learn. These are the persons who excel the most.”

Candidates are encouraged to bring valid social security cards and proof of vaccination only at the job fair.

The company is also taking the opportunity to showcase its new mobile recruitment office, which was made by performing major upgrades to a school bus. The mobile recruitment office rolls out at the end of September and will be coming to neighborhoods and public spaces allowing Belizeans greater access to employment in the largest and most progressive bpo center in the country.

Job seekers are also reminded that RccBpo’s Orange Walk and Cayo branches are currently hiring those looking for positions in sales and customer service.
