By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service today forecasts cloudy skies at times and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, mostly over northern and central areas this morning, decreasing. Tonight, expect an increase in showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain countrywide.
High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The seas will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.
A small craft caution is in effect for occasional gusty winds and locally rough seas in heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Tides will be high at 12:05 this afternoon and 11:53 this evening and low at 6:05 tonight. The sun sets at 5:56 this evening and rises at 5:40 Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday expect some showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain countrywide, decreasing in the afternoon before ramping back up at night time.
