Commissioner of Police thanks everyone for birthday wishes; Receives 2 medals for exemplary service

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams celebrated his 49^th birthday on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

The Belize Police Department also held its award ceremony yesterday to recognize outstanding police officers.

“Yesterday was a wonderful day for me, it was my birthday and the Governor General bestowed upon me two medals for exemplary years of service to the people of Belize. It was truly an honor to have been awarded those medals on my special day,” Williams said.

“My only regret was that my mother is ailing and could not have been present; nonetheless she watched with pride from her bed and found the strength to have called and wished me happy birthday. A special thank you to my mother for raising me to be the man I am today and for always being there for me,” he added.

The Commissioner extended gratitude to all Belizeans who extended well wishes to him on his birthday.
