Flight carrying Queen’s coffin was the most tracked plane in history

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The flight taking Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin to London was the most tracked plane in history, Flightradar24 reported.

Almost 6 million people tried to follow the plane’s route from Edinburgh to London, the BBC reports.

The huge traffic caused disruptions to the site, where users can track the path of planes in the air.

Almost 8 million people watched on the site and app and over 296,000 watched on Youtube.

Princess Anne and her husband accompanied the coffin, with the princess saying she had felt fortunate to be able to share the final hours of the life of her “dearest mother”.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to accompany her on her final journeys,” she added.
