Man shot in Belize City while socializing with 5 of his friends

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A man was shot last night in Belize City while he was socializing with 5 of his friends.

According to police, around 10.38 pm they received information of a shooting on George Street and when they checked at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) they discovered that Edward Hall, 44, a Belizean tour guide was suffering from gunshot injuries to his left leg.

Police say that Hall and 5 of his friends were socializing inside a yard at the corner of Rock Road and George Street when two men rode in front of the house on a motorcycle and fired three gunshots toward them inflicting gunshot injuries on Hall.

Hall was escorted to the KHMH where is in a stable condition.

Both men then escaped on the motorcycle. Police are investigating.
