Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing and Belmopan CITCO partner to build a new bridge

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: A new bridge in Salvapan is now open to traffic.

The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) and the Belmopan City Council partnered to build the new bridge for residents.

“We are happy to announce that the bridge in Salvapan is now open to traffic.   In the very near future, we will be having an official opening ceremony but during this busy weekend we want the Salvapan traffic to be eased,” Belmopan Area Representative, Oscar Mira stated.

“Congratulations to everyone that made this possible including MIDH and the population that was patient and understanding. Together we can,” Mira added.

Many residents commented on social media about their gratitude for the work that was done by MIDH.
