Prime Minister congratulates Chamber on successful EXPO

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Prime Minister John Briceno extended congratulations to the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) on a successful Expo over the weekend.

“I congratulate The Belize Chamber of Commerce & Industry on the success of this year’s Expo. The Expo embraced the government’s efforts to promote growth in the MSME sector,” Briceno said.

The Prime Minister noted that about 50 micro Belizean entrepreneurs were exhibiting their products at the 2022 Expo.

“I understand this year was unprecedented in the number of micro-businesses participating. My Administration’s policies are precisely to ensure that the recovery of our economy and national development is fueled by locally owned businesses… micro, small and medium enterprises,” PM Briceno added.
