By Breaking Belize News Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) reports that 39 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed during the period September 17th -20th, 2022.
Three (3) deaths were added to the tally, however these deaths occurred on April 30th, August 17th and September 8th, 2022.
Active cases fell from 164 to 98 while only one (1) person is hospitalized.
A total of 68,743 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Belize and with these three new deaths, the death toll now stands at 683.
“We encourage persons 5 years and older to get vaccinated as soon as you can. If you are eligible to take a booster shot, please do so as well,” the Ministry noted on their Facebook page.
