By Benjamin Flowers: Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for 17-year-old Belize City resident Destiny Burke.

Burke, who was reported missing on Thursday, September 15, is described as being of Kriol descent with a dark complexion, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall, slim built, weighs 120 pounds, and has bleached hair.

Burke made headlines back in May when she ran away, after seeking assistance from the Department of Human Services to be removed from her home but was denied.

It was later discovered that she was staying with an older sister at that time.

Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is urged to report it by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
