By Benjamin Flowers: Prime Minister John Briceño left the country on an international mission shortly after serving a national agenda in Belmopan today.
Briceno, who gave the keynote address at today’s official Independence Day ceremony, left the country soon after to attend the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.
A notice from the Government Press Office sent out this evening, noted that while in the US, Prime Minister Briceno will also be meeting with the Belize Diaspora in New York and Washington, D.C.
In his absence, Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Cordel Hyde will act as Prime Minister.
