By Breaking Belize News Staff: Over the next 24 hours, the National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers and thunderstorms will occur mainly over Northern and inland areas today, then mainly in the South tonight, otherwise isolated.
High temperatures will peak at 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees in inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 77 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are light and variable. Sea state is slight with waves of one to three feet.
Tides will be low at 2:12 this afternoon then high at 8:12 this evening. The sun sets at 5:49 this evening, rising at 5:41 Thursday morning.
The extended forecast is for fair weather on Thursday, with a chance of daytime showers inland and nighttime showers over the south.
