Prime Minister is “out of touch”, says “Shyne” Barrow; Belize must become one

By Aaron Humes: When the Prime Minister presents his version of events later today, Leader of the Opposition Moses “Shyne” Barrow told the audience in Belmopan, ask “for who”?

Because, he continued, it is not a lack of love for Belize that is John Briceño’s problem, but a lack of care, and relatability.

He never faced the issue of having to make choices on a daily basis and has perpetuated “two Belize’s” – one for the rich and politically connected and one for the rest, the Leader of the Opposition charged.

Under a future UDP administration, he promised, Belize will be one. Instead of hand-outs and dependency, there will be access to education through student loans and building a system that caters to all and fulfills the promise of Independence across the board.
