U.S. Embassy Belize Wishes All Belizeans, A Happy Independence Day!

A statement from the U.S. Embassy said that as Belize turns 41, there is much to celebrate this year, as Belize emerges stronger from the challenges of the past year and continues to recover and thrive.

“On this day, and every day, #WeStandWithBelize, united in a common goal of advancing democracy and achieving prosperity and security for all citizens of Belize. We look forward to continuing working with Belize in addressing shared security and economic interests such as illicit trafficking, improving systems efficiencies in the judicial and public health care sectors, and increasing economic opportunities for entrepreneurs, particularly in the realm of climate change,” the Embassy stated.

“Our heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes for all the citizens of Belize,” it added.
