Altitude’s Colombian Andrés Orozco leads PLB goalscorers with seven goals

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Altitude’s Colombian Andrés Orozco scored two goals last weekend against Benque Viejo United increasing his total to seven and still leads all Premier League of Belize’s (PLB) goalscorers after eight games in the 2022-23 Opening Championship.

Orozco has converted his seven goals in eight matches. He could have more but had to sit out Match 7 against Port Layola due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

Verdes’ Paraguayan striker Luis Ibarra and Port Loyola’s Sean Young are hot on Orozco’s trail with five apiece.

They in turn are followed by Wagiya’s Cion Augustine and Progresso’s Zamir Bonilla with four each.

Next are Wagiya’s Warren Moss, who is now at a university in the United States, and Verdes’ Trimayne ‘Pepa’ Harris who have scored three goals each.
