Man charged with harming his sister out on $700 bail

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man, charged with harming his sister, has been released on bail.

Thirty-four-year-old Phillip Fitzgibbon appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, where he pleaded not guilty to a single charge of harm.

There was no objection to bail so it was granted in the sum of $700 plus one surety of the same, which he was able to meet.

One of the conditions of his bail is that he is not to interfere with his sister.

The charge stems from a dispute the siblings had on September 19, where he allegedly got violent with his sister.

Fitzgibbon is due back in court on November 23.
