Police detain 27 Cuban migrants in Cayo

By BBN Staff: Today, officers in Cayo detained 27 Cuban migrants. Authorities believe that the Cuban nationals entered Belize illegally through the western border.

The group includes 11 males, 13 females, and 3 children.

The group was detained near the border and handed over to Immigration officials.

They are expected to be charged with Immigration offenses shortly.
