Belize Weather: Sunshine and showers mixed

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Moist and unstable conditions continue to affect the country according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop this morning before becoming isolated and decreasing this afternoon. Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times with an increase in showers and thunderstorms along the coast.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees over inland areas, and 80 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast tonight, 72 degrees inland, and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be northeasterly at five to ten knots. The Sea state will be slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be high at 8:54 this morning and 9:26 this evening and low at 3:38 this afternoon. The sun will set at 5:47 this evening and rises at 5:41 Sunday morning.

Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated during the daytime on Sunday before increasing again along the coast at night.
